ABOUT ME
Nicole Prisciak, MSW, RSW, & Therapist
Hi, I’m Nicole (she/her), an Ontario-based therapist and Masters level Registered Social Worker at Eras Therapy & Wellness. I see therapy as a space where we can slow down, breathe, and really connect with ourselves and with the stories we carry. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation, it happens within a helping relationship, through compassion, curiosity, and a sense of safety. As an Indigenous woman, my practice is grounded in cultural awareness, respect, and a trauma-informed lens. I’m here to walk alongside you as we explore what’s been feeling heavy, uncover your strengths, and help you move forward with more clarity and self-trust.
Before stepping into private practice, I had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through community-based mental health programs. I now focus on helping kids, teens, and adults who are navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, shame and low self-worth, and more. I also bring a specialized focus to eating disorder recovery and body image healing, supporting clients through a body-neutral and Health at Every Size lens. My practice is affirming of all body sizes and identities, and I am committed to helping clients reclaim their relationship with food, movement, and self-worth. My hope for all my clients is that they feel safe, understood, and supported in our time together. That means the world to me.
Outside of the therapy room, I recharge by spending time with the people I love, reading, baking something cozy, going for runs with my puppy, playing video games, and spending time in nature, especially near water.
MY APPROACH
Grounded, Empathetic, Collaborative.
I bring a warm, down-to-earth energy to each session. You can expect a space where your story is held with care and without judgment. Whether we’re diving deep or taking things one step at a time, I’ll meet you where you’re at, with kindness and respect.
My approach is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and rooted in inclusive, anti-oppressive values. I also honour cultural safety and the unique identities and lived experiences that shape each person.
I don’t believe in "fixing" you, because you're not broken. Instead, we’ll work together to understand what’s shaped you, connect with the parts of you that have helped you survive, and uncover what makes you uniquely resilient and whole.
