how do i book a session?

We offer convenient online booking available 24/7 through janeapp which you can access HERE. You can book yourself in for a free phone consultation where you will meet with a therapist of your choice for 15 minutes to discuss what you are looking for help with, your goals for therapy, learn more about our approach and ask your therapist any questions that you may have. Alternatively if you are ready to get started you can book in for a 50 minute initial therapy session right away. Prefer to email? No problem, you can reach us at admin@erastherapy.ca and we will respond with 1 business day.

How much does a therapy session cost?

A 50 minute therapy session is $150 for individual therapy and $165 for couples and family therapy. This includes 50 minutes of psychotherapy and 10 minutes for clients scheduling, notes and tasks. We are proud to also offer affordable reduced rate therapy for $65 per session for individual therapy and $85 for couples and family therapy.

IS THERAPY COVERED BY INSURANCE?

Psychotherapy and counselling services are often covered by extended health benefits and insurance plans. We do not bill directly to your insurance company but will provide you with a receipt immediately after your appointment that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please check with your individual plans if they cover services provided by Registered Psychotherapists or a Registered Social Worker.

How many sessions will I need?

We at Eras Therapy and Wellness are relational therapists first and foremost and believe in the power of developing a strong therapeutic relationship in order to help you through all your different Eras of life. We also believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits all and we take a collaborative and tailored approach to our clients needs. Depending on the complexity of  your case you can expect to feel the positive effects of psychotherapy within 8-10 sessions however many clients prefer to view therapy as a long term investment and maintenance into their mental health and wellbeing.
