ABOUT ME
Marni Reisman, B.A., M.A., & Registered Psychotherapist
Hi, I’m Marni (she/her), an Ontario based Registered Psychotherapist at Eras Therapy & Wellness. I believe therapy is a collaborative and compassionate space where healing happens through understanding, connection, and curiosity. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and my goal is to offer a space where you feel safe and supported as we explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and move toward meaningful growth at a pace that feels right for you.
I have many years of experience working with youth of all ages, adults, couples and parents navigating anxiety, depression, family dynamics, life transitions, ADHD, stress and more. I place a strong emphasis on building a trusting therapeutic relationship grounded in a genuine connection, as I believe meaningful change begins when you feel comfortable being yourself. I believe that everyone is unique and together, we can focus on understanding your current challenges while also making space for growth, resilience, and self-compassion.

I approach my work with curiosity, care, and humility, and a genuine commitment to learning and growth, both personally and professionally. This work continues to deepen my understanding of the importance of connection, and I strive to bring that into every session.

Outside of therapy, I find joy in travelling, spending time outdoors (especially on sunny days!), golfing and skiing, and being with family and friends.
MY APPROACH
Compassionate, Curious, Collaborative
My therapy style is warm, down to earth, and relatable - you won't find me sitting there nodding the whole time. Sessions are guided by your goals and shaped by honest conversation, curiosity, and care. There’s room to laugh, reflect, and explore tough moments together, whatever helps you feel most like yourself in the space.

While you lead the direction of our work, I offer gentle structure and support to help keep things grounded and moving forward. I will provide you with tangible tools and skills to help you cope and navigate through life's challenges and gently challenges you in ways that promote lasting ways. I believe therapy works best when it feels authentic, collaborative, and rooted in trust. Whether you’re feeling talkative, reflective, or overwhelmed, each session is a place for you to show up exactly as you are.

Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, make sense of it at your own pace, and find ways forward that feel supportive, realistic, and true to you.
